Challenges

Standard heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solely relies on in-out air transfer when cooling or heating a room. More adapted to smaller spaces, HVAC systems are less efficient when operating in larger spaces. This loss of efficiency is mainly due to the air dilution effect, which reduces the thermo conductivity of air blown in from outside. As such, HVAC systems require more energy to maintain a constant room temperature.

Unlike existing HVAC systems, Equalios offers unmatched heating and cooling capabilities by decoupling ventilation from temperature control. The solution is in the monobloc ceiling units which deliver heating or cooling by radiation for enhanced thermal comfort. Ventilation is provided by an independent, more efficient system that is focused on air renewal and humidity control.
